Today, a teenager with access to ChatGPT, a deepfake generator, and a list of leaked passwords can launch a campaign that once took a nation-state. AI has leveled the playing field but not in your favor. In this session, Frank Riina will reveal how AI-driven threats are evolving and what practical steps you can take to protect your business before it’s too late.

Speaker Bio: Frank Riina is the Founder and President of Advanced Computer Technologies (ACT), a Managed Service Provider he launched in 1999 to bridge the gap between business and technology. Originally aspiring to a career in law enforcement, Frank’s path shifted in college when an internship exposed him to the transformative potential of IT. He quickly recognized how poor technology and outdated processes were costing businesses and he made it his mission to change that. Under his leadership, ACT has supported healthcare organizations through decades of technological change, natural disasters, and global crises. Frank is passionate about helping leaders understand cyber risk in plain business terms. While he never joined the FBI, he still takes down “bad guys” only now, they’re cybercriminals, and they’re getting smarter with AI. Through his work at ACT, Frank has guided hundreds of organizations in developing strategies that protect their people, data, and reputations. He believes that while leaders don’t need to be cybersecurity experts, they do need to understand the risks facing their organizations and how to prepare before an attack occurs.

As an independent chartered chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the ACHE of Maryland, is authorized to award 1.0 hours of ACHE Qualifying Education credits toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
