Preparing for an unplanned or unextected event, such as a natural disaster, pandemic, civil disturbances, medical error or labor disputes causes physical , psychological, and emotional stresses that can overwhelm employees, medical staff, patients and communities. In the event of a crisis, the quality and efficiency of care delivery may be challenged and typically takes a toll on every part of the organization. This panel discussion will provide insight and perspectives on ways to manage an unforeseen crisis within the healthcare organization and its community. It will inclue how healthcare leaders can better prepare and respond to a community or healthcare crisis, or health surge event or unanticipated response.

• Our virtual event will utilize the ACHE Learning Management System (LMS );  ACHE LMS will record attendance, conduct evaluations, and automatically report any earned F2F CEUs to your profile.
• Attendees must fully participate (90 minutes) in the live chapter event to receive all 1.5 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credits.
• Once you complete the StarChapter event registration, you will receive a link to register for the event on the ACHE website.  Please note registration on the ACHE website is required to recieve the zoom link to gain access to the live event.
