Session Description: This session provides a lookback to how changes in payer reimbursement have impacted patient balances throughout the years and offers predictions for the future of patient balances and bad debt along with tips and tricks on how to prepare and mitigate patient bad debt in medical practices.

As an independent chartered chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Maryland Association of Health Care Executives, is authorized to award a total of 1.0 hour of ACHE Qualifying Education credits toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
